MyView Relaunch
Ten years ago, MyView was created to give youth a platform to tell their stories.
What happened next was bigger than we imagined.
What began in Kemptville grew far beyond, reaching young people, audiences, and communities across Eastern Ontario. MyView became more than a festival. It became a space for creativity, expression, and connection.
But 10 years is a long time — especially in the world of youth & media.
The tools have changed. The pace has changed. The culture has changed. The way youth use video to understand themselves and share their voices has changed.
How can it reflect the realities, creativity, and energy of youth today? How can it create the same spark for a new generation that it created 10 years ago?
That is the opportunity in front of us. Not just to return, but to reimagine.
Explore past films, festival moments, and highlights from MyView over the years.
Share your ideas, feedback, and questions as we reimagine the next chapter of MyView.
High school students can take part in 2026 by submitting their film through OYFF.
